Midnight Crawler was spawned out of the very pits of hell by two acolytes of the dark arts (Roman Perry and Patrick Zappia, they're musicians). It's a project that combines influences from 90s video games, dungeon synth, lo-fi hip hop, and old school tabletop roleplaying games.
